1. Introduction

Welcome to BriefToPost, a service provided by Digital Cliqs ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of information we collect, how we use it, and the steps we take to safeguard your data when you use the BriefToPost application.

2. Information We Collect

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Services, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, or otherwise contact us.

  • Personal Information: such as names, email addresses, and contact details.
  • Payment Information: such as credit card details and billing addresses, collected and processed securely via our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
  • Usage Data: Information automatically collected about how you interact with our Service, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and pages viewed.

3. OAuth2 Tokens & Social Media Account Data Handling

To provide our content publishing services, BriefToPost requires access to your social media accounts via OAuth2 authorization. We collect and securely store access tokens for platforms including TikTok, YouTube, X/Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

All OAuth tokens and sensitive credentials are encrypted before being stored in our database. We only request the minimum permissions necessary to post content on your behalf. We do not use this access to view private messages, collect follower data, or perform any actions other than what you explicitly authorize through the BriefToPost application.

4. Third-Party API Usage

BriefToPost utilizes third-party APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) to integrate with external platforms. Your data is processed and shared with these third-party platforms solely for the purpose of fulfilling your requested actions (e.g., publishing a video to YouTube). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party platforms, and we encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.

  • To process payments and manage subscriptions.
  • To analyze usage patterns and improve the user experience.

6. Data Retention & Account Deletion

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. You can request the deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting our support team. Upon deletion, your personal information, including connected social media tokens, will be permanently removed from our active systems.

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. This includes encryption of data in transit and at rest, and secure storage of credentials. However, please remember that no transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
